Iceland Launches “Inspired by Iceland” Online Marketing Campaign
Inspired by Iceland,” a global online campaign, has officially launched. With the support of Iceland’s government, Iceland’s 320,000 inhabitants have been using the Internet to send personal messages describing what they love most about their homeland and now they invite the rest of world to do the same.
Recently named the cleanest place on earth by Forbes.com, Iceland has always been recognized as a beautiful, unique and exotic destination. With an ever-changing and untamed landscape, snow-capped mountains, hot springs and waterfalls coupled with the world’s finest shopping, gourmet dining and the hottest nightlife, Iceland has become a must see destination, especially for travelers wanting something off the beaten path.
The world quickly became aware of Iceland’s powerful natural wonders when the volcanic eruption near Eyjafjallajökull released ash into the air. However, once passengers arrive in Iceland, their senses become alive with the clean, pure, and unspoiled surroundings. They can easily see that day-to-day life in Iceland has been relatively unaffected. The natural wonders that make up the country of Iceland are constantly changing and always a part of who Icelanders are. The Icelandic people have made this active land their home and are always prepared to dance with nature.
