Iberia to Resume D.C.-to-Madrid Service

Starting March 29, Iberia will resume its service between Washington D.C. and Madrid. The carrier will operate three non-stop flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with an additional weekly flight on Sundays effective June through August.

In all, Iberia will offer about 53,000 seats between Washington and Europe in 2010. Promotional fares will start from $540, including taxes and fees, via http://www.iberia.com/.

Flights will leave Washington D.C. at 9:10 PM and land in Madrid at 10:30 AM the following morning. From there, passengers can connect with flights to 36 destinations in Spain, 38 in other European countries and nine in Africa.
